A full-time Special Education Teacher is needed for a K-12 contract position located in Chandler, AZ. This role involves working within a dynamic educational environment to support students with diverse learning needs. The position is offered for the current school year (CSY) and requires a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student learning. Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies to support students with disabilities. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods to meet evolving goals. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Preferred Qualifications: Valid Special Education Certification for K-12 education. Experience teaching special education students across a range of grade levels. Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
