This position seeks experienced Special Education Teachers to support K-12 students in a self-contained life skills setting. This full-time contract role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, ideal for dedicated educators committed to making an impact in the Scottsdale, AZ area. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to students with special needs. Develop and implement IEPs aligned with each students goals and educational requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success. Maintain detailed records of student progress and classroom activities. Manage a self-contained classroom with focus on life skills development. Qualifications and Experience: Valid teaching certification in Special Education. Experience working with K-12 students in a life skills or self-contained setting. Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation. Ability to create engaging, adaptive learning environments. Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and staff. Location and Schedule: Position based at a K-12 school in Scottsdale, AZ. Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. Monday through Friday schedule. Contract duration: current school year (CSY).
