Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available at a K-12 school located in Laveen, AZ, for the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis. Responsibilities include: Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students unique needs. Collaborating with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student learning and progress. Assessing student performance and maintaining accurate records. Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters growth and development. Adapting instructional materials and strategies to meet diverse learning styles and abilities. Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification. Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting. Strong understanding of state and federal guidelines for special education. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage classroom behavior and promote positive social skills.
