Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A licensed Special Education Teacher is needed for a full-semester contract in an elementary school setting in New York, NY. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support elementary students by delivering tailored educational programs that foster effective communication and positive learning experiences. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of elementary school students with special education needs. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student. Collaborate closely with general education teachers and support staff to provide a well-rounded learning approach. Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and guardians concerning academic progress and behavioral expectations. Employ diverse teaching strategies and resources to create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education or a related field focused on teaching students with special needs. Possession of an active Special Education certification valid in the state of New York. Ability to pass required background checks, drug screenings, and fingerprinting. Strong organizational and communication skills. Prior experience working in a school-based environment is preferred. Location: Elementary School in New York, NY. Benefits: Weekly pay schedule.
