Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for an onsite Special Education Teacher at a middle school in Forest Lake, MN. This role supports a caseload of 22 students in an Autism classroom and is designated as a backfill assignment for the 2026 school year, running from January 8 to June 5, Monday through Friday, from 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction and support to middle school students with autism Collaborate with designated teams managing IEPs and evaluations, allowing focus on direct student instruction Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs and promote academic and social growth Maintain positive communication with students, staff, and families to support student success Desired Qualifications: Valid Tier 1-4 Special Education teaching license Experience working with middle school students, preferably in special education or autism-focused classrooms Strong classroom management and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams Location:
