Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated school psychologist to support students across various grade levels in Syracuse, NY. This contract position involves working closely with students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12, providing essential psychological services that promote academic success and emotional well-being. Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs Develop individualized intervention plans and collaborate with educators and families Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to positive school climate initiatives Maintain accurate documentation and comply with relevant laws and regulations Qualifications: Valid credential or licensure as a school psychologist Experience working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels Strong knowledge of psychological testing, behavioral interventions, and mental health strategies Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff Location: Syracuse, New York This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student development within a supportive school environment.
