Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in the Pittsford, NY area is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to students across various grade levels, including K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to the academic and emotional well-being of a diverse student population through assessment, consultation, and intervention. Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students to determine learning needs and eligibility for special education services. Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement effective behavioral and academic interventions. Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support students' social-emotional development. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights to support decision-making. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to student assessments and special education services. Qualifications: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. Valid New York State certification as a School Psychologist. Experience working with students across elementary, middle, and high school grades (K-12). Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and data interpretation. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple cases and responsibilities. Location: Pittsford, New York.
