Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to work in an elementary school serving PreK through 8th grade students in a full inclusion setting. The role supports students with diverse learning needs and promotes an inclusive educational environment. Bilingual candidates are preferred. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure full inclusion and support for all students Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed Communicate regularly with parents, counselors, and support staff Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements Qualifications: Valid Special Education Teaching certification Experience working with diverse learners in elementary settings, preferably within PreK8th grade Ability to foster an inclusive classroom environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues Bilingual skills are highly desirable Strong organizational and communication skills Location: Naperville, IL Contract Type: School Year (CSY) Contract Benefits and Perks: ProCare benefits package Comprehensive insurance including medical, dental, vision, life, and more Matching 401(k) plan Flexible spending account options Weekly pay schedule Highly competitive compensation Candidates eager to contribute to a full inclusion educational program with a commitment to student success are encouraged to apply.
