Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-semester contract opportunity is available for two Special Education Teachers specializing in elementary education, located in the Ypsilanti, MI area. These positions involve working with diverse caseloads, including ASD and CI rooms, as well as standard 2nd/3rd and 4th/5th grade classrooms. Candidates must hold an active Michigan Special Education (SPED) license to qualify. Responsibilities: Provide tailored instruction and support to students in ASD and CI special education settings. Manage 2nd/3rd and 4th/5th grade classrooms with individualized education programs (IEPs). Collaborate with school staff, parents, and support personnel to ensure the academic and social development of students. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet unique learning needs. Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines. Qualifications: Active Michigan Special Education (SPED) teaching license. Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings, preferably with ASD or cognitive impairment. Strong classroom management skills and ability to differentiate instruction. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
