A school district in Ypsilanti, MI is seeking two qualified Special Education Teachers for a full-semester contract position beginning ASAP through June 5, 2026. These full-time roles will support elementary students in specialized classrooms, including ASD and CI rooms, as well as 2nd/3rd and 4th/5th grade classrooms. Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored instruction and support to students with special needs, focusing on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Manage caseloads in ASD/CI classrooms and general education classrooms for grades 2-5. Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and families to support student success. Maintain accurate documentation and follow school policies. Qualifications: Active Michigan Special Education (SPED) teaching license is required. Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings. Ability to effectively manage diverse classroom environments and adapt lessons to meet individual student needs.
