Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide specialized behavioral support within a K-12 school setting in Sanford, FL. This contract position involves an itinerant role throughout the district, working approximately 15-20 hours per week, with a focus on delivering evidence-based interventions and behavior management strategies to support students across various grade levels. Responsibilities include: Conducting functional behavior assessments and developing individualized behavior intervention plans Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to implement behavioral supports Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies as needed to ensure positive outcomes Providing training and coaching to school staff on behavior management techniques Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation compliant with professional and district standards Qualifications and Experience: Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required National Certification is mandatory Experience working in school settings with K-12 students preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Ability to work an itinerant schedule within the district Location: Sanford, Florida Job Duration: Contract through May 29, 2026 (with immediate start) Hours: 15-20 hours per week This role offers a chance to impact student success positively through targeted behavioral interventions.
