A specialized teaching opportunity is available for an experienced educator focused on special education in a middle school setting. This contract role spans the current school year and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' learning experiences within an inclusive classroom environment. Located in Madison, NJ, this position involves working Monday through Friday from 7:55 AM to 3:05 PM, supporting a middle school caseload. Responsibilities center on delivering special education instruction in both inclusion and co-taught classrooms, ensuring individualized support and curriculum adaptation to meet diverse student needs. Key qualifications and experience include: Certification and proven experience as a Special Education Teacher Ability to effectively collaborate with general education teachers for co-teaching models Strong skills in developing and implementing IEPs tailored to middle school learners Excellent classroom management and communication abilities This role operates within a single building, providing the advantage of a consistent teaching environment and direct engagement with colleagues and students throughout the school day.
