Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A position is available for a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide services in a K-5 elementary school setting in Theodore, AL. This contracted role supports students within the Mobile County School District, focusing on early childhood to elementary-aged children. Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language support services to students in grades K through 5. Collaborate with educators and speech-language pathologists to implement individualized treatment plans. Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines. Participate in team meetings and contribute to students educational goals. Qualifications: Registered with the Board of Speech Examiners. Familiarity with speech-language pathology practices in school settings. Ability to work onsite for 35 hours per week at one assigned school location. Commitment to compliance with all applicable regulations and reporting requirements. Location: One school assignment located in Theodore, AL. This contract position runs from March 2025 through May 29, 2026.
