Lead pharmacy operations in a retail grocery chain environment as a Pharmacy Manager. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers the chance to oversee a busy pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all regulations while delivering exceptional patient care and managing a dedicated team. Responsibilities: Manage daily pharmacy operations while performing the full scope of pharmacist duties. Supervise, coach, and schedule pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and interns. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company policies, including HIPAA and controlled substance regulations. Maintain accurate logs, documentation, and records for audits and inspections. Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stock rotation, returns, and controlled substance monitoring. Review and accurately fill prescriptions following all legal and ethical standards. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Active pharmacy license in Utah. Minimum of 2 years retail or community pharmacy experience; prior management experience preferred. Certification in immunizations and current CPR certification. Location: Logan, UT (with focus on a retail grocery chain pharmacy setting). Schedule: Shift hours typically from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
