Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position is for an experienced Occupational Therapist with specific school-based experience, working within a K-12 high school setting. The role is contract-based, with a school-year duration, located in the Dearborn, MI area. Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school setting. Develop and implement individual therapy plans aligned with educational goals. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain thorough documentation and comply with school policies. Deliver therapy services onsite; remote work is not available for this position. Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings. Proven ability to work with high school students from diverse backgrounds. Strong understanding of educational frameworks and Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes. Must have prior occupational therapy experience specifically within schools. COTA candidates will not be considered for this role. Location and Schedule: Onsite position in Dearborn, MI. Contract role lasting through the current school year. Approximately 15 hours per week.
