Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) role is available supporting elementary students in the Baltimore area, MD. This contract position, spanning February through late May with potential extension into Summer ESY services in July 2026, offers the opportunity to work directly with PreK-5th grade children across two schools. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language therapy services under the supervision of certified Speech-Language Pathologists Support students with speech and language development to improve communication skills Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized intervention plans Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district guidelines Participate in team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making Qualifications and Experience: Active Maryland Professional License for Speech Language Pathology Assistant required Experience working with K-12 student populations, preferably PreK to 5th grade Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with children and school staff Ability to manage caseloads across two elementary schools efficiently Commitment to supporting diverse learners in educational settings Position Details: Location: Baltimore area, MD (Magnolia Elementary 3 days/week; Prospect Mill Elementary 2 days/week) Schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week Contract Duration: February 16, 2026 May 29, 2026 (option to extend for 4-week ESY in July) This on-site role requires dependable commuting to assigned schools This opportunity is ideal for professionals seeking to make a direct impact in a dynamic school environment supporting young students communication needs.
