A Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support PreK through 5th grade students in two elementary schools within the Baltimore area. This full-time contract role spans the current school year with potential extension into the Extended School Year (ESY) program in July 2026. The position provides a collaborative environment focused on fostering communication development among young learners in Grades PreK5. Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy services under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists Support individualized education plans (IEPs) by implementing therapy goals tailored to student needs Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session notes Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure continuity of care Balance caseload between two schools, providing services three days per week at one site and two days at the other Qualifications and Experience: Active Maryland Professional License as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant required Experience working with children in a school setting preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families in diverse educational environments Flexibility and reliability to maintain schedule across multiple sites Location and Schedule: Assignment in schools located in the Baltimore area, MD Magnolia Elementary (3 days per week) and Prospect Mill Elementary (2 days per week) 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday Contract dates: February 16, 2026 May 29, 2026, with possible extension through July for ESY This opportunity is ideal for candidates passionate about helping children achieve their full potential in communication within the school environment.
