Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the Baltimore, MD area serving K-12 students across several schools and community preschool locations. These positions provide a chance to work full-time or part-time supporting a diverse student population with speech and language needs. Assignments include: Community preschool programs (preschool age) itinerant services, 5 days/week, driving between locations
Elementary schools (PreK to 5th grade) 3 days/week at one site and 2 days/week at another
Middle school (6th to 8th grade) with responsibility for supervising an SLP Assistant (SLPA) supporting shared caseloads
Positions will be fully on-site with flexible start dates ranging from early December through March 2026. Extended coverage opportunities are available through summer ESY sessions. Key qualifications and requirements: Active Maryland professional licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (CCC preferred)
Experience with pediatric speech-language caseloads in school settings
Ability to conduct individual and group therapy sessions, evaluations, and collaborate with school teams
Supervisory experience or willingness to oversee an SLPA (middle school assignment)
Reliable transportation for itinerant assignments
Commitment to maintaining compliance with all state and district policies
Responsibilities involve evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized speech-language goals to support student communication development. Collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams is essential. Documentation, progress monitoring, and participation in IEP meetings will be required. This is a contracted role ideal for clinicians seeking varied educational environments and student age groups, with opportunities for both full- and part-time hours. The schedule typically runs Monday through Friday, with some flexibility for 4- or 5-day coverage based on location.
