Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to work full-time within a K-12 school setting. The position is located in Tullahoma, TN, and is contracted for the current school year. The role involves providing specialized instruction and support to students in grades K-2, with a caseload of approximately 7-8 students. Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored educational instruction to students with special needs in kindergarten through second grade Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods to meet student needs Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate with parents and caregivers Participate in professional development and team meetings as required Qualifications and Experience: Current Tennessee 461 Special Education endorsement is required Experience working with early elementary students (K-2) in special education Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Ability to manage a caseload effectively, approximately 7-8 students Excellent communication and organizational skills Work Details: Location: Tullahoma, TN Full-time schedule: 7:30 AM to 3:15 PM Contract duration: Current school year This position provides the chance to make a meaningful impact on young students' educational development within a supportive school environment.
