A contract opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support an elementary school caseload in a part-time role. This position requires a qualified professional with school-based experience, licensed for practice in California, ready to contribute to student development and therapy services. Key Details: Location: Torrance, CA Setting: Elementary school onsite Duration: Full semester contract, starting ASAP through June 12, 2026 Hours: Part-time, 20-25 hours per week Caseload: Elementary student population Openings: 1 Interview process conducted via Zoom Qualifications and Experience: Active California license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Proven experience working within school settings supporting childrens therapy needs Ability to manage a diverse elementary caseload effectively Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with educators, students, and families Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services tailored to individual student needs Conduct assessments and implement intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and reporting standards Attend meetings and contribute actively to the educational team onsite This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in a supportive school environment, positively impacting childrens educational and developmental outcomes.
