Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time position is available for a School Psychologist to support a K-12 school district in Mansfield, Texas from January 5th through May 21st. This itinerant contract role offers a dynamic opportunity to work across six schoolsincluding a high school, middle school, intermediate school, and elementary schoolsproviding essential psychological services to a diverse student population. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) as part of initial assessments Perform counseling evaluations and provide consultative support alongside Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) Attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings only in cases of disagreement or controversy; mandatory attendance at Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDRs) Manage caseloads across multiple campuses, supporting students from elementary through high school Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop appropriate interventions and support strategies Qualifications: Hold a valid License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred Strong assessment, evaluation, and consultation skills Ability to travel between multiple school locations within the district Location: Mansfield, Texas Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (7.5-hour days) Contract Duration: January 5, 2026 May 21, 2026 This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on student well-being and educational outcomes across multiple schools.
