Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time special education teaching opportunity is available in the Cleveland area for the remainder of the current school year. This contract position is an immediate backfill opening, designed to support K-12 students with moderate to severe disabilities in a self-contained classroom setting. Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with moderate to severe disabilities. Manage a self-contained classroom environment that promotes learning and skill development. Collaborate with school staff and families to implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching methods accordingly. Qualifications: Experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities. Proven ability in managing self-contained classrooms. Strong knowledge of special education best practices and federal/state regulations. Effective communication and collaboration skills with educators, support staff, and families.
