Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed to support K-12 students in a school district located in Columbus, GA. This contract position runs from January 12, 2026, through May 21, 2026, providing services approximately 37.5 hours per week. The role involves working with one to three schools depending on current needs, often in partnership with virtual Speech-Language Pathologists, requiring strong communication skills and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Assist speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy and support to students across K-12 grade levels Collaborate with virtual SLPs to ensure continuity of services and effective treatment plans Maintain daily logs and documentation for timesheet and reporting purposes Adapt to varied school environments while managing assigned caseload effectively Qualifications: Current Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) registration with the designated Speech Board Prior experience working in school settings is preferred but not required Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate closely with virtual professionals and school staff Dependable and detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities Location: Columbus, GA This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the communication development of students within a dynamic educational environment.
