We're actively seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Supervisor for a Day Shift positionwithin a hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Position Overview:
The Inpatient Pharmacy Supervisor is responsible for ensuring efficient operations of both sterile and non-sterile drug distribution systems. This role focuses on integrating pharmacy services to improve departmental efficiency and optimize medication delivery across inpatient operations. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure efficient operations of sterile and non-sterile product drug distribution
Enhance integration of pharmacy services to improve departmental efficiency
Optimize the inpatient drug delivery system
Coordinate workflows between unit-based pharmacists and central/satellite pharmacy operations
Directly supervise central and satellite pharmacy staff
Oversee daily pharmacy operations and personnel
Develop and maintain a budget-neutral technician schedule
Education Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD Required
Masters Degree in Pharmacy Preferred
ExperienceQualifications:
3 years of recent experience in an institutional (hospital) setting Required
Supervisory or leadership experience Preferred
LicensureQualifications:
Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License Required
