As a substitute paraprofessional, you will play a critical role in assisting classroom teachers and providing essential support to students with special needs. This is an excellent opportunity to promote academic and personal growth among students while gaining hands-on experience in an educational environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing instructional support for individual students or small groups
• Assisting teachers with classroom management and supervising students
• Helping with administrative tasks, such as setting up equipment and preparing classroom materials
• Supervising students in various settings, including cafeterias, schoolyards, and during field trips
• Addressing students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs
• Supporting students with special needs by adhering to their IEPs/504 Plans
• Performing other tasks as assigned by the classroom teacher and school administration

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing)

Compensation: $10-$17/hr
