A highly skilled Imaging Cath Lab Technologist opportunity is available in Chicago, IL, on a 13-week contract basis. This position requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in multi-specialty Cath Lab settings, including electrophysiology (EP), interventional radiology (IR), and catheterization procedures. The role demands precision and expertise in a fast-paced environment to support critical cardiac and vascular interventions. Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 40 hours per week Rotating days off Rotating on-call duties including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays On-call 6-8 days per month with a 30-minute callback response and minimum 4-hour callback coverage Holiday coverage as needed Responsibilities: Perform advanced imaging and monitoring during cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology procedures Ensure patient safety and optimal imaging quality in compliance with protocols Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary clinical teams to provide exceptional patient care Maintain sterile technique and operate imaging equipment accurately Respond promptly during on-call periods to assist with urgent procedures Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Cath Lab operations within a multi-specialty environment High proficiency in EP, Cath, and IR procedures essential Current ARRT certification required Valid Illinois state licensure BLS and ACLS certifications Ability to provide a recent reference from a Cath Lab supervisor Skills checklist and verification of licensure required upon application Location Overview:Chicago, IL, offers a dynamic urban setting rich with cultural diversity and access to top-tier healthcare facilities.
