Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized role is available for an experienced Cath Lab Technician with a strong background in electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and cardiac catheterization procedures. This position calls for a highly skilled professional with over five years of recent experience working in a multi-specialty cath lab environment. Location: This role is based in Aurora, IL, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic medical community known for quality healthcare services and convenient access to urban amenities alongside a welcoming suburban atmosphere. Key Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 5 years of recent Cath Lab experience in a multi-specialty setting Expertise in electrophysiology (EP), cardiac catheterization (Cath), and interventional radiology (IR) Current ARRT certification required BLS and ACLS certification mandatory Proven ability to handle a rotating on-call schedule and responsiveness with a quick call-back time Schedule and Responsibilities: Contract assignment lasting approximately 13 weeks 40 hours per week, structured as four 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM) with rotating days off On-call rotation averages 6-8 days per month, including weekends, with a 30-minute callback requirement and a minimum 4-hour callback duration Holiday coverage as needed Duties include: Performing complex imaging and assisting in cath lab procedures across multiple specialties Maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care Additional Requirements: Candidates must submit a current resume, one recent reference from a cath lab supervisor, skills checklist, and verification of Illinois licensure for consideration.
