Contract Schedule: MondayThursday: 8:30 AM 5:30 PM Friday: 8:30 AM 12:00 PM Weekends: Closed Key Responsibilities: Oversee general retail pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist In Charge Manage and review prescription orders to maintain accuracy and compliance Ensure adherence to all pharmacy regulations and standards Support an efficient workflow and promote quality patient care Work closely with a strong, experienced technician, with additional staff to be added as volume grows Support a pain clinic serving approximately 140 patients daily, requiring comfort handling pain medications Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active Mississippi Pharmacist License is required Previous management experience is not necessary; training and support are provided Confidence and experience in handling pain medications is essential Professional, friendly, and reliable demeanor to foster strong patient and team relationships Experience with DRX pharmacy system is a plus, as this is the primary system in place With a monthly prescription volume of 1,5002,000, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working within a supportive environment.
