This opportunity is for a Special Education teacher specializing in Early Childhood Autism, working full-time at an elementary preschool setting in the Denver area. The assignment runs from January 7, 2026, through May 21, 2026, supporting a dedicated autism classroom. This is an on-site, contract position requiring a commitment Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Key qualifications include: Active Colorado Teaching License with Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) endorsement Preference given to candidates with ECSE licensure; those in the process of obtaining licensure may be considered based on eligibility Experience working with preschool-aged children, particularly in Autism spectrum settings Ability to deliver classroom instruction and behavioral support within a specialized educational environment Primary responsibilities involve: Implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to preschool children with autism Collaborating with school staff and families to track progress and adjust interventions Creating a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere to foster social, communication, and developmental skills Conducting assessments and documentation as required by state and district guidelines This role provides a meaningful opportunity to make a significant educational impact for young learners with special needs. Candidates must be available to work solely on-site, as virtual or hybrid arrangements are not available.
