A full-time school psychologist opportunity is available to support elementary students (Kindergarten through 5th grade) within the Chattanooga area. This contract position spans from January 5, 2026, to May 21, 2026, focusing on delivering comprehensive psychological services to enhance student success and well-being. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, participating in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and creating behavior intervention plans. The role requires managing a caseload that may vary by assignment, with some minor travel between schools expected. Consistent on-site presence is required as this is not a remote or hybrid position. Key qualifications include: Active Tennessee Department of Education Certification as a School Psychologist Experience working with elementary-aged students (K-5) Ability to perform psychological assessments and contribute to IEP and ARD processes Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school staff and families Commitment to a full 37.5-hour workweek; part-time candidates will not be considered This position serves multiple schools within the Hamilton County Schools district, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student development and learning outcomes.
