This opportunity is for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support within a K-12 educational setting in Burbank, IL. The position involves working across cooperative special education classrooms as well as district member programs, delivering therapeutic services to students with diverse needs. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and develop individualized occupational therapy plans tailored to student needs Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to promote student participation and progress Implement therapeutic interventions in both cooperative classrooms and district school environments Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational and clinical standards Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student goals and program development Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapist licensure appropriate for school-based practice Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred, particularly in special education environments Ability to adapt interventions to meet academic and developmental goals Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and clinicians Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments Location: Burbank, Illinois Contract Type: School Year (CSY) Contract This contract position offers the chance to apply occupational therapy expertise within an educational cooperative setting, addressing the needs of diverse student populations.
