We are seeking a
Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician
for a
13-week contract with potential to convert to hire
at a
specialty compounding pharmacy
in
Kennett Square, Pennsylvania . This facility focuses on
personalized, patient-specific compounds , making attention to detail and consistency critical.
Attendance is extremely important
for this role and will be a key factor in success and potential conversion. Position Overview This technician will support sterile and non-sterile compounding operations while maintaining strict compliance with USP standards. The role is hands-on and best suited for technicians with recent sterile compounding experience who thrive in a structured, quality-driven environment. Schedule Monday Friday
Day Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with
USP , , and
through initial and ongoing training and competency assessments
Read, interpret, and accurately enter prescriptions into the pharmacy system
Prepare and compound medications according to established formulations under pharmacist supervision
Complete and maintain accurate formula log sheets and required documentation
Measure, mix, package, and label compounded medications with precision
Assist with batch compounding, product labeling, and verification of log entries
Manage inventory levels of ingredients, equipment, and PPE
Ensure timely preparation and fulfillment of compounded prescriptions for shipping or patient pickup
Maintain accurate records of compounded products and all work performed
Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent Pharmacy Technician experience
Sterile compounding experience (required)
Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician registration
(must be obtained by end of June 2026)
PTCB certification or willingness xsgimln to obtain upon hire
Strong reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to consistent attendance
Practice Setting Specialty compounding pharmacy
