An elementary special education teaching opportunity is available for a K-5 co-teach position in Duluth, GA. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) is based at a local elementary school and is a contract position for the current school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction in a co-teaching environment alongside general education teachers Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs Collaborate with school staff, parents, and support personnel to ensure student success Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies as needed Qualifications and Experience: Valid Elementary Education certification for the state of Georgia Experience teaching special education at the elementary level preferred Ability to work effectively in a co-teaching model Strong communication and collaboration skills Location: Elementary school setting in Duluth, Georgia Additional Requirements: Candidates will undergo three reference checks prior to interviewing At least one reference must be from a current or recent principal or assistant principal This position offers the chance to make a positive impact on student learning within a supportive school community. xsgimln Interested educators who meet the qualifications are encouraged to apply.
