On-site, Monday–Friday, full-time Compensation:
$135,000–$150,000 + 7% annual target bonus Job Summary: We’re hiring an Operations Manager to lead all production activities at a key manufacturing facility in the Greater St. Louis area. This is a high-impact role overseeing a 24/7 manufacturing operation. You’ll be responsible for production performance, safety, quality, and continuous improvement—working closely with plant leadership to align output with corporate objectives. You’ll lead a skilled team, drive process improvements, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while supporting strategic growth and plant efficiency.
What You’ll Do Manage all production activities in a continuous 24/7 operation, including shift oversight and performance reporting Lead change management efforts for process improvements and documentation (SOPs, JSAs, work instructions) Support trials for new or improved products, and define plant requirements for implementation Train and develop production supervisors for growth in process knowledge and team leadership Drive compliance with environmental, health, safety, and quality regulations (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001) Oversee raw material usage, inventory, off-site waste disposal, and production scheduling Conduct incident investigations, PHAs, and corrective action implementation Ensure preventive maintenance coordination with site maintenance team Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and performance across all production shifts Identify and execute cost improvement initiatives.
Manage department responsibilities to established annual budgeted costs and volumes. Ensure plant cleanliness, reliability, and organization standards
What You Bring 5–10 years of production management experience in a manufacturing industry Prior experience managing teams in a fast-paced, regulated plant environment Proven leadership skills with strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives Deep understanding of manufacturing safety, regulatory compliance, and process efficiency SAP prior experience and knowledge is a plus.
