Plasma Center LPN

About BioLife Plasma Services Every day, the donors we meet motivate us. The high‑quality plasma we collect becomes life‑changing medicines. As an LPN, you will support plasma center operations under the guidance of the Center Manager and the Center Physician.
About the role Your responsibilities include determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and notifying donors of unsuitable results. You will follow SOPs, support vaccination programs, manage employee incidents, and act as a pandemic coordinator when authorized.
How you will contribute
Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent, medical history, physical exam, and blood testing.
Evaluate donor reactions and respond to medical emergencies per SOPs.
Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for findings that require medical attention.
Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
Manage employee incidents and liaise with occupational health/ER.
Coordinate pandemic investigations as directed by EHS or Medical Affairs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, or graduate equivalent of a recognized nursing program.
Currently licensed as an LPN or LVN in the state of assignment.
Current CPR and AED certification.
State licensure for basic IV therapy.
Successful completion of FDA‑approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
At least two years of clinical or hospital experience.
Compensation and benefits summary Hourly wage: $23.85 – $32.79 for U.S. based employees. The actual wage depends on qualifications and location. Employees may receive U.S. based incentives, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with match, short‑term and long‑term disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time, holidays, sick time, vacation, and other benefits.
