$70,000 - $83,200 DOE Responsibilities
Propound and respond to discovery requests. Draft discovery responses and summarize medical and employment records. Prepare for depositions, mediations, and trials. Support multiple attorneys, managing approximately 15 - 25 cases. Conduct medical record analysis and issue spotting. Handle subpoenas and coordinate with retained experts. Manage calendaring and ensure compliance with billable hour requirements. Engage with clients as needed, particularly in client meetings. Requirements
1 - 5+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, with a paralegal certificate. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a busy environment. Experience in litigation or general liability defense is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
