As a Senior Government Subcontracting Specialist, you will oversee and drive procurement of material and services in alignment with business leadership for your assigned commodity/category and/or region as per the Annual Operating Plan. This position will lead the end-to-end cycle of FAR15 proposals and subcontracts supporting key Honeywell programs. Ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures, Export/Import regulations, as well as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). You will report directly to our Procurement Manager, and you’ll work out of our 1 location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the evaluation of bids and proposals, ensuring compliance with company policies, FAR, and DFARS requirements. Your expertise in subcontract management, specifically related to FAR and DFARS, will be crucial in identifying and resolving subcontract issues and developing mutually acceptable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee procurement of material and services in alignment with business leadership

Ensure compliance with company policies, FAR, and DFARS requirements

Evaluate bids and proposals

Identify and resolve subcontract issues

Develop mutually acceptable solutions

Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE

Government procurement/subcontracts administration experience

Strong negotiation and contract management skills

Knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously

Familiarity with procurement software and tools

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, L&C, Business, or Finance

US Person due to contractual requirements

DoD procurement subcontracting experience (FAR15)

Detailed understanding of DoD Procurement Life Cycle

Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations

Strong negotiation skills and processes

Supply chain experience

Procurement experience within defense, aerospace, or similar industry

Experience managing subcontracts FFP, CP, CPIF, etc…

Experience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD)

Ability to understand and negotiate terms and conditions

Ability to work independently
