About The Role We are seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join our team. This role is responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting, account reconciliations, month-end close activities, ERP efficiencies, and integration efforts related to mergers and acquisitions. The supervisor will lead a team of accounting professionals, providing direction, mentorship, and performance management to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
M&A Accounting Leadership: Perform financial due diligence and post-acquisition review of working capital. Coordinate integration of financial systems and processes for smooth transitions.
ERP Expertise: Act as SAP ERP subject matter expert, driving improvements, upgrades, and implementations to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
Audit Support: Prepare schedules and respond to auditor inquiries during external audits.
Account Reconciliation: Review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations for month-end and year-end close.
Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal accounting policies.
Team Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and daily oversight to accounting staff, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred but not required.
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
Proficiency in SAP.
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
