Summary The PIO Team Lead will oversee PIO installations and processes and troubleshoot installation problems. Lead PIO employees and staff to timely and accurate task completion.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership to PIO team members
Ensure the PIO installation procedures and processes are followed
Correct parts issues and any other obstacles to production
Certified in all accessory installations
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair installation issues
Ensure all team members documentation requirements are met
Ensure all team members understand the requirement to follow the customer's installation instruction sheets
Ensure all team members can read and understand customer quality requirements
Ensure all team member installations meet or exceed quality specifications
Perform periodic audits to ensure installations are accurately and effectively installed
Oversee the tool control program for PIO shift and ensure accountability and accuracy of required tools and materials.
Continuously improve accessory installation processes and recommend adjustments
Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read and write – Required
Ability to record and verify numbers 17 characters in length – Required
Must have demonstrated mechanical abilities – Required
Have general knowledge of automobile components – Required
Ability to operate basic hand tools, drills, wrenches, etc. – Required
Education & Experience
High School Diploma/G.E.D – Required
Must hold a valid Driver's License – Required
Experience with hand tools – Preferred

Reach above shoulder
Kneel/squat
Balance, Push/Pull

Lift up to 30 lbs.

Working and Environmental Conditions This position works in a plant manufacturing/warehouse setting at Montgomery, AL.
Ability to drive up a small ramp
Operating hydraulic lift for installs
Operating Computers and Copiers/Fax Machine
Exposure to loud noises from vehicles and heavy machinery
Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions
Exposure to gasoline/fumes
The position is based in a plant manufacturing/warehousing environment.
Communication with employees and field partners will be primarily conducted via phone and email.
