Recruiting and Talent Management Senior Coordinator (Century City) Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP, a global Am Law 50 firm, is seeking a Recruiting and Talent Management Senior Coordinator based in our Century City office. As a member of Sheppard Mullin’s Talent Management Team, the Recruiting and Talent Management Senior Coordinator will support the Century City office on all aspects of entry‑level recruiting processes including entry‑level recruiting, the summer associate program, and new lawyer integration, as well as provide support to the Firmwide Entry‑Level Legal Recruiting Manager and the Director of Legal Recruiting. Additional responsibilities include assistance with Talent Management goals related to professional development and diversity and inclusion. Responsibilities

Manage entry‑level recruiting process including: register for on‑campus interviews, job fairs, and resume collects, as necessary

Review recruiting materials for interviewers

Schedule callback interviews

Plan and execute offer receptions

Coordinate candidate follow‑up

Prepare offer documentation

Oversee summer associate programs for assigned offices including: plan and attend events

Track summer budgets

Coordinate work assignments and evaluations

Prepare offer decision packets

Serve as relationship liaison for summer associates, attorneys and business services professional

Coordinate onboarding, orientation and integration of new associate classes, including collection of materials, and coordination with immigration specialists, as necessary

Develop and maintain positive relationships with regional and key law schools, including career service offices and student organizations, and identify recruitment opportunities that align with firm’s recruiting goals

Coordinate events with law school student groups and career services offices to support local and strategic initiatives

Collaborate on social media strategy and develop content for marketing

Lead or support other national talent development programs and initiatives, as necessary

Maintain applicant records; ensure data integrity; prepare and analyze statistics

Qualifications and Experience The ideal candidate will exhibit the following qualifications:

3+ years of relevant work experience

Prior law firm or corporate recruiting experience required

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Team‑oriented self‑starter with ability to work with minimal supervision

Ability to interact with all levels of personnel while demonstrating a professional and service oriented demeanor

Ability to prioritize work and multitask in a fast paced environment

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent judgement and respect for confidentiality

Proactive with ability to take initiative when required

Preferred Qualifications: Prior human resources and marketing experience

Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience

Computer/Software Knowledge

Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Experience using an applicant tracking system required

Knowledge of viDesktop, Symplicity, Flo Recruit and NetDocs systems is a plus

Advanced web skills and basic web/graphic design skills are helpful

Work Environment

Current firm policy is hybrid–working in the office a minimum of 3 days per week, and working from home the rest of the week (subject to change). Additionally, this position will require coming into the office more than 3 days a week during May through August and potentially other months, as needed.

Overtime may be required as the job duties demand.

Travel Requirements

Up to 25% travel to other U.S. offices for firm and recruiting events, as necessary

California: The pay range for this position is $36.00 to $44.00 per hour.
