What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Handle an inventory of automotive damage, disputed liability, and cross-jurisdictional claims
Initiate and manage arbitration processes for disputed liability and damage claims
Negotiate and finalize recovery settlements while ensuring regulatory compliance
Investigate, evaluate, and settle auto claims within established authority
Determine appropriate collection methods and communicate effectively with all parties involved
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance
Strong customer service and negotiation skills
Proficient analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, or Bodily Injury claims
General understanding of various lines of insurance coverage (homeowners, auto, personal property)
BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills with a respect for diverse backgrounds
Active participation in company culture initiatives and community service
