Overview The Industrial Security Analyst 3 manages all disciplines of security for the HII security program at Pocasset, MA, including COMSEC, physical security, document control, visitor control, security education and training, and other duties as directed. The role ensures 100% compliance with DoD and company security policies, coordinates audits with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), and interfaces with government customers and HII IT.
Responsibilities
Administer the overall HII security program for Pocasset and support field sites.
Manage COMSEC material as the COMSEC manager: track, safeguard, destroy, and report on COMSEC records.
Develop and administer security policies for classified or proprietary materials, documents and equipment.
Prepare and conduct security education classes, audits, and briefings for personnel.
Investigate security violations, prepare reports, and specify preventive actions.
Conduct semi‑annual security self‑inspections, physical security surveys, and threat/vulnerability assessments.
Ensure accuracy of the security clearance database using Access Commander.
Interface with government customers and government agencies on security related issues.
Serve as the liaison to the HII IT department on approvals and installations required for facility or personnel operations.
Conduct audits relating to DFAR and CUI compliance.
Qualifications
6 years relevant experience with a bachelor’s in a related field; 4 years relevant experience with a master’s; or high school diploma with 10 years relevant experience.
Thorough knowledge of 32‑CFR Part 117, ICDs and other DoD compliance requirements.
Knowledge of DIAS and control of COMSEC material is required.
DCSA FSO certification for possessing facilities is required.
Full knowledge and understanding of industry practices.
Ability to independently demonstrate skill and ability to perform complex professional tasks.
Excellent speaking, written, organizational, customer service and communication skills.
Work well in a team environment and under minimal supervision on multiple tasks.
Prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments concurrently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, NBIS, DISS and NISS.
Current Secret clearance with an in‑scope background investigation; eligibility for Top Secret/SCI is a plus.
Bonus Points
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) and/or Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO).
Ability to interpret guidelines and apply judgment in individual situations.
Knowledge of physical security requirements is a plus.
Physical Requirements Job performance requires adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity in an office work environment.
