Overview
Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts is a Paideia Magnet school located on Jersey Pike in Chattanooga, TN. Academics, Citizenship, and Communication skills are the top priorities at CSLA. This interim position will teach 6th Grade integrated English Language Arts and Social Studies. Seeking innovative applicants with a desire to learn and grow in the profession.
Responsibilities
Plan, deliver, and assess effective instruction aligned to Tennessee state standards
Design engaging lessons with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
Collaborate regularly with colleagues and support staff
Build strong, respectful relationships with students and families
Create a well-managed, structured classroom environment
Participate in ongoing professional development and reflection

Committed to high expectations and academic achievement for all students

Experience in Title I or high-need school settings is a plus

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
Valid Tennessee teaching license in English/Language Arts 6-8, 6-12 English OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program
Compensation & Additional Info:
Salary Scale based on education and experience – starting at $50,000.00
Eligible positions may qualify for additional pay under the Differentiated Compensation Plan
