Central Jersey Medical Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center in Perth Amboy, is seeking a full‑time Dental Hygienist to provide quality dental care under the supervision of a dentist. The mission is to offer services to all patients regardless of ability to pay, race, ethnicity, and cultural competence. Responsibilities
Perform direct patient care and dental services as licensed and trained. Assess oral health, document dental history, and perform charting and periodontal charting. Expose, process, and mount radiograph films and document lab procedures. Follow oral hygiene procedures per treatment plans, including prophylaxis, scaling, root planning, and fluoride treatments. Assist with emergency measures during treatment and conduct community dental health clinics. Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and the importance of professional care. Maintain accurate patient records and demonstrate knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures. Qualifications
Accredited dental hygienist program completion. Current New Jersey State Registered Dental Hygienist license. Current CPR and radiation safety certification. Preferred certification to administer local anesthesia. Benefits
