Job Summary The Nurse Clinical Ambulatory provides disease-specific patient care to patients with serious acute and/or chronic health events or seeking healthcare to maintain their wellness. The position’s responsibilities include but are not limited to skilled assessments, care plans and care plan implementation, patient education, and clinical evaluation or interventions. This position requires working with medical professionals under time and efficiency constraints in a busy ambulatory care setting with a patient-centered care focus on quality, safety, and service. A working knowledge of enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures is needed to be successful.

Responsibilities

Skilled assessments and care plan implementation.

Patient education and clinical evaluation or interventions.

Collaborate with medical professionals in a busy ambulatory care setting.

Adhere to quality, safety, and service standards.

Maintain knowledge of enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky.

ADN or BSN education required.

No prior clinical experience required.

Preferred additional ADN/BSN education or experience.

Ready to work Monday – Friday, Day Shift 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Communication, collaboration, problem solving, willingness to work with others.

Basic computer knowledge: MS Windows, Word, Outlook, EPIC.

Physical Requirements Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds; standing, walking, and sitting for long periods of time.
