Responsibilities
Adheres to and supports the mission, purpose, and policies of Tenet Physician Resources, including the Tenet HIPAA Compliance Plan.
Greets patients entering the practice.
Manages office communications, including answering phones, making, confirming, and rescheduling patient appointments.
Checks in patients, collects accurate demographics, verifies insurance, and enters data into the electronic system.
Checks out patients and assists with referral processing and scheduling.
Collects co‑pays and posts charges.
Processes charge entry and patient balances.
Distributes information to patients regarding office policies, procedures, and practice information.
Explains the patient portal and assists with patient enrollment.
Performs additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
One year customer service experience, preferably in a hospital or physician office setting.
$500 sign on bonus!
sign on bonus is for new hires only. A non‑exempt medical office position responsible for front office processes in the physician practice.
