Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Overview The Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for complex and diversified assembly of a variety of products using mechanical drawings or work instructions. This role requires intricate fitting, adjusting, and aligning of multiple parts within close tolerances to complete finished products, units, or sub-assemblies. The assembler will use hand tools and machinery while following schedules provided by SAP and management, maintaining quality standards in an ISO environment.
Job Specifications
Assemble and/or wire complex equipment following blueprints, models, and model prints
Perform skilled adjusting, fitting, and aligning within close tolerances
Follow work cell procedures, mechanical drawings, and product structures
Set up, operate, and maintain basic production machines including component engravers, presses, crimpers, riveting, or encapsulation machines
Use hand and power tools as required
Build harness assemblies
Perform light computer usage to monitor and report job status and component availability; open prints/work instructions and enter data into Excel or SAP
May perform thru-hole PCB assembly
Perform multiple operations on products within and outside the home department
Follow PPE requirements and 5S practices to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work area
Work overtime as required
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Meet prescribed quality standards in an ISO environment
Skills and Experience Required
Minimum 1–3 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience (mechanical assembly with electronic/electrical safety knowledge acceptable)
Ability to read blueprints and schematics and identify proper components and color schemes
Excellent workmanship standards
Good verbal communication skills
