Mileage reimbursement is provided
Premium Pay Rates:
$5/hour premium on all hours worked
$1.25/hour weekend shift differential
$1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Experience Requirements:
Long Term Care Experience (6 months preferred, 3 months required)
Scheduling Requirements:
Minimum of 30 hours per month
One weekend shift per month
Job Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long‑term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. The LPN demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles appropriate to the resident’s clinical setting, performs assessments and testing, administers medications or treatments, documents resident interactions, and collaborates effectively with interdisciplinary team members. The role also includes counseling residents and families, and performing additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Graduated from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse; associate degree preferred.
For positions requiring IV therapy/management skills (North Dakota), completion of a North Dakota Board‑approved AASPN program with IV therapy in the curriculum or an approved IV Therapy course is required.
Minimum age of 18 years.
Attendance of a pre‑licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across the life span or at least 400 hours of LPN experience at another facility.
Unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the state nursing board and/or multi‑state licensure privileges.
Completion of required annual continuing education units (CEU), competency training, and departmental certifications.
