$24 – $36 per hour
Must support multiple locations within 150 miles of permanent address
Mileage reimbursement provided
Premium Pay: $5/hour for all hours worked; $1.25/hour weekend shift differential; $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM‑6:00 AM)
Long‑term care experience required: 3 months minimum, 6 months preferred
Minimum of 30 hours per month; at least one weekend shift per month
Job Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long‑term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. The LPN demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles, performs assessments, administers medications and treatments, documents resident interactions and outcomes, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary care team. The LPN must recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively in emergent situations.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse; an associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
For positions requiring IV therapy/management skills, a North Dakota‑approved AASPN program with IV therapy or a completed IV Therapy course is required.
Minimum age 18.
Completed a pre‑licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across the lifespan or at least 400 hours of LPN experience at another facility.
Current unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing Board and/or multi‑state licensure privileges.
Completion of required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training.
