Summer Lifeguard Manager

Part-time/Hourly team members eligible for raise after every 60 shifts.
Compensation : $18.50 - $21.50/hr. Seasonal/part-time, hourly. June-August.
Summary Embark on the role of Lifeguard Manager, overseeing safety protocols, supervising the lifeguard staff, conducting training sessions, enforcing facility rules, managing opening and closing procedures, and ensuring customer service excellence.
Responsibilities
Ensure the safety of all visitors by enforcing facility policies.
Ensure Head Lifeguards and Lifeguards are effectively scanning and responding.
Manage daily operations at the facility.
Fill in as tower guard as needed.
Interact with patrons and focus on satisfaction.
Respond to emergencies, provide backup assistance, or appropriate care as needed.
Communicate with staff members and collaborate with other management teams.
Handle general facility setup, inventory, and restocking.
Complete daily reports.
Establish professional relationships with co-workers and clients.
Resolve conflicts with employees and patrons.
Conduct in-service training and evaluations.
Embrace a dynamic workday and willingness to step into various positions.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Minimum
Work a minimum of 2 days a week; availability on weekends and holidays.
1 year of lifeguard experience or equivalent management experience.
Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for 8 hours.
Obtain and maintain StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Certification.
Swimming proficiency.
Preferred
2 or more years of lifeguard/management experience.
Ability to work weekdays and weekends.
Strong customer service skills.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
